    We are DZBT Limited, a company registered in Malta at Northfields App 2, Vial-Indipendenza Str, Mosta, Malta, MST9026. We are also known under the brand name 'DAZN Bet'(“DAZN Bet”, “we”, “us” or “our”).   4. What information do you collect?

    We collect the following types of information about you:

    Customer due diligence information

    Identity and age verification information and information from politically exposed persons, special interest person and sanctions screening. This could, in certain circumstances, also include additional background check information such as in relation to adverse media, credit, bankruptcy, debt and employment.

    Safer gambling information

    In order to promote safer gambling we collect information about self-exclusions from our Site and Apps, restrictions that you or we have placed on your gambling activities, deposit, wagering/staking and loss information, games played or events staked on, the number of registered payment methods, when you use the Site or Apps and the time spent, any interactions we have with you and information from organisations such as GAMSTOP (national online self-exclusion scheme) and from third party debt and affordability providers.

    In relation to sensitive personal information processed for the purposes of compliance with our safer gambling obligations under law and regulation, this is necessary for the identification and prevention of an individual experiencing gambling related harm.

    To protect our business from money laundering, terrorist financing and other illegal activities.

    In some cases, we are required by legal and regulatory obligations applicable to us under gambling, anti-money laundering, anti-fraud and anti-terrorism laws to process your data for these purposes. This includes our obligations to carry our customer due diligence.

  6. Who do you share my information with?

DAZN Brand Licensing Limited (“ DAZN”) is company that is registered in England and Wales (registered number 13572068), whose registered office is at Hanover House, Plane Tree Crescent, Feltham TW 13 7BZ, United Kingdom, and it is the owner of the DAZN Bet brand.

    We share your information with the DAZN group of companies (including its employees and sub-contractors) so that DAZN can:

    • Send you relevant marketing materials and/or show you adverts that it thinks you will be interested in (provided that you have consented where such consent is required and subject to self-exclusions and opt-outs from direct marketing)
    • Understand how you use the Site and Apps so that its marketing and advertising (subject to your consent where consent is required) is more relevant to you
    • Analyse your use of our products and services via the Site and Apps

    Credit reference agencies

    When you sign up for an account, we ask an external credit reference agency (GBG or Transunion) to complete a credit reference check to confirm your identity.

    When we ask an agency to complete this check, they will leave a “soft” footprint on your credit file.

    When we are processing your information for the reasons explained in Section 5 above, we use the services of other third parties.

    Affiliates and third parties for marketing

    If you have told us that you do not want to receive certain marketing, or where you have been banned from our Site or App or have self-excluded, we work with companies that help us ensure that you do not receive unsolicited promotional communications from us.

    Identity verification and fraud prevention agencies

    We work with other third parties to help us prevent fraud, and this can include making sure we have correctly identified you. Examples of companies that help us do this are:

    • Agencies which investigate and prevent underage, fraudulent, criminal or suspicious activity, or any other behaviour we are legally required to investigate.

    Gambling organisations

    We might also share aggregated or anonymised information to gambling addiction prevention organisations such as GAMSTOP or academic institutions to allow them to conduct research into problem gambling and to help us better protect vulnerable people.

    Analytics providers

    We share your information with companies that give us feedback about our Site or Apps and that help us improve the optimisation of our Site or Apps.

    To help us meet our contractual and regulatory obligations or to obtain advice, we use the services of various organisations that offer legal, audit and compliance services.     Statutory authorities

    We share information with law enforcement agencies, courts, regulators and government authorities, for example due to a court order. This includes where we notice something suspicious and are under a duty to report it.

    Sporting integrity organisations

    We have to make sure that we protect the integrity of sport and that betting markets are fair and free from corruption. Certain organisations help us to achieve this and we might need to share information with them. This will be anonymised data for the Sports Integrity Platform (IBIA).

    Potential business partners

    If we are considering selling or buying businesses, we might share information with the potential buyer or seller.

  7. Do you make any automated decisions?

    Identity information check

    We use credit reference agencies to help us to verify your age, identity, and date of birth. This process involves information you provide us and checks from multiple sources to assure a match. These sources could include electoral/open records, commercial contracts and/or credit facilities. We may need to ask you for age and identification verification documents following this check.

    These checks allow us to check information required in order to open your account and help us comply with our age and identity verification licensing obligations and our crime and fraud prevention policies.

    In relation to registration identity checks, a credit check is not performed, and your credit rating will be unaffected. Credit reference agencies may keep a record of your information.

    Self-exclusion

    In some cases, in order to help us comply with our legal and regulatory obligations and help to identify and prevent an individual experiencing gambling related harm, we use cookie information to identify accounts that are subject to self-exclusions or to gambling restrictions so we can seek to manage our advertising accordingly.

    Managing gambling related harm

    We use a third party to verify your level of affordability. Based on the outcome of this, we will limit the amount of money you can deposit with us. A credit check is not performed, and your credit rating will not be impacted.

    We monitor your account for indications that you might be at risk of experiencing gambling related harm. We use a third party to assist us with this. We will tailor interactions with you based on the output of this monitoring, and may restrict your account as a result, or withdraw you from offers and promotions.

    Each time you log-in we will use your details to see if you have registered for GAMSTOP. If your details are found to be registered, we will block your account as per the terms of the scheme.

  8. How long do you keep my information?

    We retain your personal information for as long as we have a valid reason for doing so, this includes retaining the information in order to provide you with the services you have requested, meet our contractual obligations to you, meet our legal and regulatory obligations, manage disputes, investigations, legal proceedings and claims and enforce our contracts.

  9. Where do you transfer my data

    In some cases, we transfer your information to countries outside of the European Economic Area and the UK. Where we do this, this will be to countries deemed adequate by the European Commission or pursuant to adequacy regulations under UK data protection law or on the basis of appropriate safeguards, such as processor binding corporate rules or Commission-approved or UK data protection law-approved standard contractual clauses.

    • Texting the word “STOP” in response to any marketing SMS you receive from us

    You have the right to:

    • ask us for a copy of your personal data to correct your personal information (you can do this yourself in relation to some of your personal information by visiting your account on the Site or App;
    • to delete or restrict processing of your personal data;
    • to obtain the personal information you provide in a structured, machine-readable format;
    • to object to the processing of your personal information in some circumstances (in particular, where we do not have to process the information to meet a contractual or other legal requirement and processing for direct marketing purposes); and
    • where we have asked for your consent, to withdraw consent at any time. If you ask to withdraw your consent to us processing your information, this will not affect any processing which has already taken place at that time.

    These rights may be limited, for example if fulfilling your request would reveal personal information about another person, or if you ask us to delete information which we are required by law or have compelling legitimate interests to keep.
